Returning to the cartoon modern character design we used in our film Nine to Five Ned, Paper Brain made a stop-motion paper and cardboard film with the Sesame Workshop to help explain to young kids what characteristics constitute being a 'Super Hero'.

"S is for Super Hero" aired last month in Season 49 of Sesame Street on the episode titled "Four Furry Super Heroes". The score was done by composer Gregory Pepper, sound mix by Danny Reeves at Wire Road Studios, and the enthusiastic voice over was done by Serenity House. Lisa Ray fabricated many of the paper assets, and I made the other stuff and did the stop-motion animation on all the environmental elements, and well as the effects and compositing.  All characters were made with real construction paper, animated frame by frame in Dragonframe, then composited into 3D environments using After Effects.
